Is dedicated to the eradication of Viral Hepatitis and prevention of HIV/AIDS. While also educating the general public about the realities of mental health and illnesses. Our programs are to help improve the lives of those affected by long-term diseases through advocacy, education, and support.
We seek to raise awareness of this enormous worldwide problem and to motivate people to support this important – and winnable – battle.
- Teach the public and hepatitis patients how to prevent, diagnose, and treat viral hepatitis;
- Prevent viral hepatitis by promoting liver wellness and healthful lifestyles;
- Serve as advocates for hepatitis patients and the related medical community worldwide; and
- Support research into the prevention, treatment, and cures for viral hepatitis. And to educate the general public about the realities of mental health and mental illness.
To accomplish this, we provide education, training programs, and materials for the public,
patients, health educators, and medical professionals.
C.O.P.E.‘s vision is to provide scientific and educational support for patients through community-based organizations (e.g. clinics, drug-treatment centers, churches, schools, etc.). Along with the support of advocates and service providers, Cope will serve to eliminate the fears, stigmas, and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, and mental illness; while providing education and support for those affected and infected.
